i adjusted the background image to make it brighter and more cheerful then edited it to fit the page

I then added a drop shadow and a bevel and emboss effect to the extra text give it more meaning and to make it stand out on the page

I then added a phrase to go with the ethos of the school and give the magazine and school more stature

finally i added a bevel and emboss effect to the title to give it more depth and make it stand out even more

i then added a colour overlay to the head to merge it with the clouds in the sky and add a more proffessional look
